Points of Interest

While private tutelage of worthy apprentices can be had even in most remote villages, Odíhg Cettíhknùcíhwsa Kùgjo is home to a proper school dedicated to teaching magic. Such schools are usually small, with no more than a few dozen pupils, most of whom will fail for lack of talent or discipline. The instructors are rarely first-rate, usually serving only for the pay and status, but sometimes a genius sorcerer will find a reason to observe likely apprentices here. Given the unfortunate accident potential of the school, it’s probably isolated or well-fortified.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Odíhg Cettíhknùcíhwsa Kùgjo was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Odíhg Cettíhknùcíhwsa Kùgjo lost 188 people, 277 livestock, and 62 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 195, when members of Odíhg Cettíhknùcíhwsa Kùgjo's militia enacted an operation to escort a particular vault to a safe location. The operation was complicated by a significant percentage of the militia choose to go abandon the operation and return home. The conflict ended with the defense of the vault against a siege, which ended in a crushing defeat for Odíhg Cettíhknùcíhwsa Kùgjo's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Odíhg Cettíhknùcíhwsa Kùgjo's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
